People call me Mara, but just to introduce myself properly - I am M.Sc. Arch. Marlena Ratajska - an optimist and a forward thinker who dreams big and believes that with the right motivation, nothing is impossible. I am Polish living in Germany who works internationally.
LET’S CONNECT
I graduated from Gdansk University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning. After working professionally in Switzerland and becoming a finalist in the international competition 'Young Designer of the Year' in 2016, I decided to leave the path of a ordinary architect and work as a freelancer focusing on designing future mobility concepts with a particular emphasis on yacht design.
In 2019 I co-founded the Design, Research & Developemnet Studio - 
- together with Felix Börner, an inventor with a creative technical mind. Since then, we have gathered a variety of know-how and skills in our team and we undertake a wide range of projects, always striving to fuse science and art to turn crazy ideas into reality. Despite the diversity of our day-to-day work, we remain on the path of creating future-oriented mobility concepts.
I find myself in a variety of project scales and themes - from architecture, interior and mobility concepts to product design and even artworks. Regardless of whether I am designing on water, land or in the air. I always strive to understand the future users, shaping a pleasant and functional space - creating the perfect solution in a unique form.
